Who are we:

The Society of Law Teachers has been acting as the only mouthpiece of legal academics in South Africa for many decades.

Due to the increased awareness of our role and position in Africa, the society expanded to include law teachers of universities in southern Africa and became the Society of Law Teachers of Southern Africa.

 

Aims

The aims of the society are:

• To promote research and teaching in the field of law;

• To further the common professional interests of teachers of law;

• To serve, to such an extent as may be possible, as a common mouthpiece for teachers of law.
